The day was fine when people gathered on the Cathedral green for today’s remembrance service. The Very Rev Jason Bray, Dean of Llandaff Cathedral officiated on the green accompanied by Bishop Mary.
Wreaths were laid by many organisations including: Army, Navy, Royal Air Force, Air Cadets, Guides Association, Cardiff Council, Llandaff Rowing Club, The Houses of Parliament, The Llandaff Society, Cardiff Met, Cathedral School, Bishop of Llandaff High School, Howells School, Glantaff High School, Danescourt Primary and many many others. Wreaths were also placed in memory of the Ukraine and Falkland Islands conflicts.
Nigel Tidball, John and Pauline Tyrrell, Sarah Wiley and Phil Freegard attended on behalf of the club. Phil was accompanied by his partner Ruth and his daughter, Major Donna Freegard, Royal Army Medical Corps, who was laying a wreath on behalf of the Army.
